Zadar is a beautiful town with almost over 3000 years of history to present. In its historic center you will find a lot of traces of the roman past.
The Cathedral of Sv. Stosija (saint Anastasia), the church of St. Simeon, the church of the St. Marien monastery, the church of St. Donatus from the 9th century, the church of Sv. Krsevan (Hl. Chrysogonus) and the roman forum, the former palace of the Priors, the palace of the archbishop, the armory, as well as the five fountains.
Attractions from modern times (july 2005) are the Seaorgan, wich makes music caused by the waves of the sea, and the podium Greeting to the Sun - a solarium, consisting of 300 multilayer glass plates, which are fuled by solar energy and glow in different colors at night.
